For lower rates, better availability, and far more breathing room, I recommend Goa’s shoulder seasons like late October/early November or mid-April/May. The weather is still sublime albeit a tad steamy for some. Villa owners usually offer enticing deals of up to 50% off peak pricing at this time, especially if you have flexibility with your dates.
The sweltering summer months from June through August or the pre-monsoon rains of September are the ultimate low season for a truly budget villa takeover. Of course, you won’t get that idyllic beachfront experience with the ocean being rough, but villa rates can reach rock bottom if you’re comfortable inside or poolside. Plus, many owners will toss in additional discounts, freebies, and incentives for travelers willing to visit during the quieter warm periods.
